Also any fish the blue lobster can catch will be food for him too. All they are is a blue version of the crawdad - crayfish (depending on where your from ). When there young and small they become cichlid food when they grow to midsize and adult size cichlids become there food. I would not recommend putting a "blue lobster" in a cichlid tank. With all the rock work that goes into them it gives the lobster placs to ambush unexpecting cichlids or it can corner them in some crevices. I would only use a blue lobster in a tank with mid and upper swimmers only and the lobster being the only ground dweller.

yellow labs will be fine if you have enough hiding places, they are very hardy fish

I agree with mepster on the yellow labs , they make a great contrasting colors with any blue cichlid in my opinion. Also the albino scofoli is a pure whit cichlid that adds another dimension of color.

A 90 gallon would also be large enough for some pseudotropheus crabro (bumblebee cichlid) which are very interesting. http/www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=845

Pseudotropheus Acei are purple with yellow fins, are very peaceful, and tend to spend much of their time in the open. http/www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=1460

ive decided to get a 50 gallon bowfront instead being that im on the second floor and have limited money and space. so 50 was a better option. so 7-8 inch fish probably arent going to work. any suggestions on mbuna that will go in 50 gal. im also considering putting only peacocks in it. is that a good option? thanks
