90 Gallon Stocking

How about a couple of severums (golden for me)
2 large plecs (maybe a rusty)
2-3 oscars mine are best mates with the sevs.
And id say knife fish too. or an upside down catfish like mine too!!

PLenty of room for them all to grow too.

I's personally choose a community, 50 Cardinals/Neons/Rummys/Harlequins + Red Lined Torpedos + a few bottom feeders

You get a few fish that swims pretty fast for excitement, the school of Cardinals for their colours even though they are pretty boring, or even rummys as they are pretty active too, or so i've heard

I think that i would like to stock my tank with the following.

2 Oscars
1 Green Terror

Possibly a larger catfish and 1 or 2 other species of chiclids would this stocking be ok?

Could i get some ideas for the other fish... Please help i really want to get a plan for this tank.

If I am right, the BIO-Wheel 330 does 330 G/h which would filter your water 3.6 times an hour. I would look into getting an additional filter, maybe another 330 on there to give it adquate filtering. Especial if you are going to get messy fish (Oscars)

Ive got a fluval 404 canister on the way and another emperor 400 hang on...sorry forgot to mention that

I would suggest a nice schooling fish for with the Oscars and GT, like Silver Dollars. This is quite similar to the tank I am setting up but I decided against the Oscars and deceded on a Green Terror and Jack Dempsey with a few smaller Cichlids. Copnvicts Firemouth and possibly a Blue Arcara. As for Catfish why not go with Hoplo Cats. Seems like I am recommending these to everyone now but they are amazingly active for catfish.

i'd actually do a community with it, i'd get 6 angels a shoal of congo tetras a shoal of rainbows a big group of cories, a couple of cool catfish plecs around 8" and thenwhatever room i have left i'd fill with a massive group of tetra's :good:

Clearly he wants LARGE and AGRESSIVE fish like oscars... If I were you, I'd get say 2 Oscars, 1 Green terror (like you said) however I'd get a Midas Cichlid (better known as red devils except gold in color) and a Albino Channel Catfish...

Aren't Red Devils too aggressive for even Green Terrors? Just what I heard I may be wrong.

Red devils can get too aggressive for Oscars... green terrors can too... but red devils and green terrors are around the same agressivness... Still I had my oscars with a Midas and they were all fine :D

I keep hearing stuff like that about large Cichlids however I am now a firm believer you can probably mix and match a lot of them (tank size prevailing) so long as you get them young and at the same time (roughly, over weeks) and then it's simply down to personality.

Ya... I got my Midas and my first big oscar on the same day... your best bet (if you're going to get the midas too) would be to get the oscars at like 4-5" and the midas any size bellow them but not smaller than 2"... so say 3-4" and 4-5" oscars... also for the green terror, try to get him around like 3" although I rarely see them sold for bigger than 2"... good luck man :D
