8 gallon

gp i c ure looking @ this forum 4 an long time but have nhing to say

That tank that you like is slightly smaller than a gallon, just fyi. It's a rip off IMO. I have one, and like it, but it's way cheaper to buy a bigger tank and then that filter seperately. :dunno:

It may be an eight gallon but online pictures may be deceiving. It looks more like a 2.5 gallon to me, according to that picture. :dunno:

you have a goldfish in a bio-orb? :grr:

here you can get a plain 8 gallon tank for £10 (bout $8) and by the filter and heater separate, but it still works out cheaper than getting everything in one kit. :dunno:

don't get a biorb if you're on a budget....you could get so much more for your money.

Yes whats wrong with that, it's kinda what they are made for. I'm sure people keep fish in much worse than that ie bettas in jars!! our fish are very happy! You try and be helpfull, but there are always people out there that want to pick and judge. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but we take the bestest possible care of our fish, good food, tanks are clean, water is perfect, it just hits a nerve.

Even the smallest goldfish reach 6" and are recommended 20g for one and and additional 10g for each additional fish. I don't want to sound critical and I'm sure you are very dedicated to your fish but I think that was the point being made. :dunno:

um about the goldfish, in other places, and this big goldfish site, says 10 gallons each. why is this forum diffrent from everyone else?

So, what makes every assume they are staying in there for the rest of their life??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? when I have a goldfish, that is that big, in a 6 gallon tank then preach at me, we're are not stupid people. as it is they are only about 2cm big, there is plenty of room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our other fish were getting big thats why we moved them out of the 47 gallon and bought a 140 tank for them, we worked that out all on our own thanks.

you did ask what was wrong with it, and you got an answer.

I didn't assume they were there for the rest of their lives, neither did danio2004. no one called you stupid either. I'm sorry if you felt offended but it is extremely common for people to not realise the needs of goldfish, which i'm sure you will admit is true, as they're so often kept in tiny tiny bowls and neglected. i'm sure yours are healthy and well cared for.
