72"x18x18 What To Stock

im going African on my 2 new tanks.
one is Malawi in my large tank, and Tanganyika in the smaller one you will never look back trust me

Lol still not decided. Picking tank up today so will still need to set up etc, going to take my time with this one

Mind you i pick it up and get back home about 4pm then i start work at 5pm

Will be dying to finish to get back home.

Whats your tap water pH and hardness if you know it?

Have you ever thought about Malawi?

I did a while back and love it, can't get enough of them.

Just thought I would say, if I had that tank, my stocking would be either have a pair or a 'community'.
Pair:
Red bay snooks OR
Parachromis pair (mota/loselli/freddy) OR
Vieja Argentea

Community:
1 gold saum, 1 salvini, 2 convicts (prefeably not a breeding pair). OR
1 oscar, 1 severum, 2 firemouths

Just what I would do, that is until I see something I have to have at LFS :p

Along with that you could easily get away with a small shoal of dithers, like larger rainbows or silver dollars etc.Plus 1 or 2 armored catfish.
You could even do a mix with some oddballs and new worlds.
:good:
