Dumb luck I stumbled on just using magnets. Yeah, the color is pretty much an exact match of our couch and curtains which are all in the general vicinity. My wife wanted everything to match. I would like to put some plants in, but unfortunately my current filtration will not allow it, ie. UGF. I am very, very new to this and was taken in that they were the best thing for filtration. After I get my tank cycled, I think that I will take out one side of the ugf, let everything settle down, and then take out the other side.

xltd, your a genuis if I say so myself. That's a very impressive cabinet and hood, not sure about the colour but all to their own, it probably goes with your furniture. I think your tank would make a nice planted tank, maybe consider it in the future?
Very nice!

Took this under consideration, and am now a proud owner of a planted tank. Will post pics in a bit.

I agree with Neal. You should try a planted tank in the future. You really thought through the hood very well, and it looks good and well-built.
