7.5 Watt Heater, 6.3l Tank

I bought a 7.5watt for my 6.3 liter tank.

Is this over heating the tank, as the heater says " do not use in aquariums under 2 gals?

Use it or no?

6.3 litres is aprox 2gal anyway so go for it!
