6x2x2 Big Cichlid Aquarium

Cool, you could have a flowerhorn but i think your parrots could go with them? not sure depends on the temper. Glad your getting some new Sd's as i bet your old one cant wait for sum buddies!! poor little thing :( with out his buddie! hows your oscar? is he getting better?

I think if the flowerhorn was aggresive (which he probably is)he would tear my fish apart,i've heard flowerhorns are really aggresive? But if any owners are out there please give your input because he's lovely.Parrot and flower horns are both hybreds tohugh...so maby.I didn't see him for sale(not labelled) and he was in a 20 gallon -ish tank on the floor,i only spottted him on the way out, i shouted out wow a flowerhorn cichlid and about 5 people turned round and looked dat me  .I could always put him in my 30 gal(4ft long, cramped but an improvement) though! Then upgrade to a 75 gallon..Such a nice fish.If i get some enough money for my b-day i'm buying him!

No, I certainly wouldn't recommend a Flowerhorn with any other fish except in very large tanks. Even if both are hybrids, it won't matter.

I'm not saying 100% it won't work, as all fish are different within a species, but in general FH's will kill anything else put with them. Extremely mean and aggressive fish.

What i've heard

IMO, they're a great fish though. I'm definitely going to get another one some day.

Tons of personality but mine didn't like me very well. He would always try and attack me when I would clean his tank. I had to take a net to fend him off from me while cleaning and he would just tear it up and once in a while he would surprise me and yank it out of my hands, parading all around the tank with his new "trophy" trying to dodge me from getting it from him. Whenever our dog would walk by he would slam into the glass to get at her and he even once leaped halfway out of the water and bit my finger, got his teeth stuck in my finger and couldn't get off.

Yea, good times we had together.

Haha some times i think cichlids aggresion comes from there stupidity
