Hehehe that will baffle them, cheers m8 will give that a go,(hate to see equipment in the tank too )
Will try and get the riccia done today if the sprog gives me a chance, will post some pics soon.

Lol George and i are the same trade and all aircraft technical trades come under trade group 1 (now where's me gun? :D )

K ive got rid of ladder now and fixed the co2 tube into the inlet of the filter (cheers George)and moved wood around (no choice lol, wouldnt go back same way after riccia fitted  )
Temp still a tad high too -81f
The Cabomba furcata on the right wont be staying (only there to help out while others get established)
Ive tryed two different ways to do the riccia hairnet on the upper wood and wrapped cotton on the bottom. The hair net was a pain in the *$!* and im a bit worried about my ottos gettin stuck in it.
So open to constructive criticism cheers guys (n girls)

Very nice i think it has a lot of potiential, its a much better attempt than the first couple of layouts you have done (although they are very good as well) its definatly more nature style, and i think with a bit of tweaking here and there this could be very good indeed.

Could you give us a run down on the plants.

And i cant see the picture now that im writing this, so cant really comment on what i think needs tweaking unless i start guessing :D which i wont do.

Background- Blyxa japonica, Eusteralis stellata, Microsorum pteropus Windeløv, Riccia and Cabomba furcata(in for now)
Foreground- Eleocharis parrulus, Eleocharis acicularis, , Glossostigma elatinoides, , Java moss .
I have some Alternathera rosaefolia (pink stem) growing in my other tank and may use some to add a splash of colour near the Eusteralis stellata.

Still waiting on my dry ferts at the moment.

That looks terrific. It's one of the best nature style layouts I've seen on this forum.

Personally I would lose the Cabomba furcata from the right, it looks too distracting for my taste. I would let the left side grow upwards and have the composition descend diagonally to the right in a classic triangular layout. The wood protruding adds just the right amount of tension and interest into the work.

Well done mate.

edit - I've just seen the cambomba is temporary?

Cheers m8,yup the Cabomba furcata is in temp as i wasnt sure how things would pan out.
No real sign of algae yet (touch wood)
At the moment im dosing .3ml of kent grow daily and 1ml of kent fe every 3 days. Water changes twice weekly (50%)
Still no sign of my dry ferts yet :/
My only real concern is the temp, its pretty costant at around 80 f when lights are on,dropping to 75 f over night.
