Not really, some of those plants are quite high maintainance. For what it is, its a lot of money, you'd be better off purchasing individual easy to care for plants :good:

i was very shocked at how much those packages cost and dont want to spend that much money only to have them die, i guess i`ll buy some individual easy to keep plants

this retailer seems to have a good choice with plants already attached to rock, terracotta etc, any suggestions what to buy and how many?

Go for plants like Lava moss, Java fern, Anubias, Vallis, different Cryptocoryne species.. they are easy to grow beginner plants :)

I really cannot believe how much those plants are costing now at TGM!!! You can get them muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch cheaper than this!

Have a look here, brilliant quality plants...

http://www.plantedtanks.co.uk/

you'd probably get all those plants for £30 from there.

thanks for the help..again lol, i hate to keep bothering people but this site is the best source of information

im definately gonna purchase some of those plants over xmas, do i need to buy any liquid ferts? and do i need a different kind of light (not even sure what i have now it came with the tank)

That is what the site is here for Creg. :good:

If you don't know what the wattage of the light is, can you tell us what tank you have and we might be able to find the light specs. The light wattage is the depender on what you'll need to dose.

fluval light glo 95 litre

if need be i dont mind buying a new bulb just to be on the safe side

WHOALY ****!!
Look at the price of that!

TGM surely has almost kicked themselves out of the market with prices like that!

For what it's worth, you can buy live plants from eBay in collections for a very reasonable price.

They come bunched and weighted - ready to plant.

Ben.

totally ridiculous pricing. have a look at some of the sellers on ebay like last trading post, mosymo,

checking ebay now, already ordered some moss balls a couple days ago

would this be something ok
