a minature hydroelectric power generator to run off the flow from my filter to power the lights, anything to cut down on the electric bill

A small device that will plug into a car cigarette lighter and provide a small amount of safe heat for keeping fish at the right temperature on long journeys.  May be there is already something people use for taking fish to shows.

I don't know about fish, but they have something like this for baby bottles - If it doesn't exist for keeping other liquids warm (like fish) then it shouldn't be that hard to modify the tech for fish ::shrug::

I know there are a few out there but none thats really reliable or decent enough to give me the confidence for when I go on a 2 week holiday......
