I converted my 5 gallon betta tank into a dirted, high light, low tech tank. Here are the specs:
Tank: AquaCulture 5.5 gallon de-rimmed.
Filter: Azoo 60 palm filter.
Light: 23W 6500k CFL in a cheap dome light fixture.
Ferts: Easy green, 1 pump(1 ml) a week
Plants:
- Dwarf hairgrass(eleocharis parvula)
- S. repens
- Christmas moss
- Bucephalandra “green wavy”
- hydrocotyle tripartita japan (a single stem)
- Ludwigia Repens “rubin”
- Frogbit
