Yeah I went through a depressed period where I kinda let my tanks go to hell so yeah now I have to clean them all up. Its bad, but I'm getting back slowly.

I am going to try it filterless. If I have issues I’ll buy a small sponge filter.

A couple of root tabs will do the job just fine.

Nope! Still not sunk. Other than that it is doing well. I bought a big pack of 80 root tabs for $35, should take me years to use them all, even spread between my 3 tanks!

Well it’s been a long time since I’ve updated. Thanks @StripySnailGirl04 for the reminder! The driftwood sank, of course. It’s water change day. I swapped the light for a different one, it has better settings and such and just is working better in general. I also added a sponge filter, the water was getting this weird film from lack of water movement. Pictures coming after the water change!

I definitely veered from the biotope a little bit, added duckweed, red root floaters, and red Ludwigia

Wow. Nice project... Wish she could have been here so I could say it to her... I had no idea this thread existed until now.
If you do get this Olive I hope your doing alright...
