Still deciding. Schooling fish definitely. But undecided between red, blue or muted.

Update of background plants currently used: Heteranthera zosterifolia (Stargrass) and Rotala macrandra "Green"

I might change out the Stargrass, depending on how they grow. For now, they will do as they grow very fast and will fill out fast.

It's been just about 1 week since I started the journal.

Marsilea crenata has adjusted and begun to grow new leaves (bright green shoots) faster than I thought! Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green Gecko" has also started to melt a little and I can see new, small submersed leaves forming.

How's the fissidens doing? I really want to use it in my 8g scape again. It's doing pretty ok in my 36g. Better than I anticipated.

I love stargrass. I used it in my 8g in a previous scape, the one in my avatar and it really does have a vibrant green. Makes A. reineckii pop.

Yes, the Marsilea is trying to act like a weed now.

The Fissidens fontanus is doing well, and I don't expect them to spread as much as the rest of my plants. I've tried those in a lot of environments and they always adapt well.

The Stargrass might grow too big for my tank. I'll switch to other stems if I feel that it's too big for my liking.

Beautiful,and I would love to see a full tank shot from the front. Gosh, how long did it take you to plant the marsilea?! I guess at that size you had to use tweezers? Do you happen to know the scientific name for stargrass?
