Well I had the people in today to bulid the tank. At the minute its sitting in the middle of my dining room waiting for the silicone to harden here are a few pics of how the day progressed. The tank is 96x32x31 which works out to 412usg.

Firstly needed to put hood in back garden.

Then bring in top of cabinet

Hoods in all done now Friday ill paint the back.

There you have it for now there coming back tomorrow to fit the shelvs inside the cabnet and put the cover glass on then ill paint the back and next Wednesday they will move it back into position and ill fill it Saturday.
 
would love a tank that size just not got the room for it :-(

The rays, aro, p.bass, and other bits ill be picking up some more p.bass and a flag tail.
 
wow nice tank :D i would love to build my own tank someday, but don't know how to lol that's make a real nice cichlid tank, possibly malawi.
but your going for marine, and i'm sure it'll come out lovely :good:

Umm, I dont think it will be marine? Didnt he say he was putting aros and p bass in it? :blink:

OMG thats massive!!!!!!! :eek: You actually built the tank?? Its really really fantastic, how much does all that weigh? Can't wait to see pics of it being set-up, hope we get a step-by-step! :cool:
