I think we are getting another four this weekend Mamashack, I'm going to try and get 3 females and 1 male to go for even numbers. I couldn't find a lot of advice on ratio around the forums, but if anyone has a recommendation I'd be glad to hear it?

I think we'll stop at 12 fish Meeresstille. Looking about at stocking levels, I've seen as high as 1 fish for 2 litres, so 20 in total given the small size, but don't want to push it so will stop at 12 with a few shrimp.

Great pic, I could never get decent ones of mine.
Male to female ratio isn't that important as the males don't harass the females like livebearers do.
They tend to do little display dances to entice the females over, however the more females you have the better your chances of them spawning.
