400 Liter Aqua Scaped Tank

Hi this is my 400 liter aqua scape, fish are 10 cardinals, 10 rummy nose, 2 blue german rams, 4 sterbai cory, 1 royal panaque L-27 and 7 shrimp, im getting next week hopefully a pair of discus, so photos will follow.

plants are 2 species of Amzon Sword, 1 cobomba, 1 crypt, 2 twisted vallis, 1 american penny wort, and the small little grass like plant at the front.

i have 1 external filter and 1 internal, 1 wave maker and 1 air stone, 4 t5 lights with 2 switches 1 for mood lighting, for dawn and dusk, and 2 white lights for day light.

i feed the fish live food nearly most of the time as well as sinking tablets cucumber and tetra pro colour.

Nice aquascaping the substrate makes the whole thing come together.

I think the rummynose's are cute, are you going to put in any bigger fish?

The grass like plant is Echinodorus tenellus same as mine i think

yea im going to get some discus wednesday and id like some big cichlids but i dont know what will mix with discus?

Nice looking tank, will look good when it fills out, just make sure you only run one light unit, otherwise you will have a huge Juice bill and algae problems

theres loads more room in there, i'd up the school of Rummys or Cardinals as well.

the background is a 3D background it cost me £110.00 its a amazon style

i now have my breeding discus blue tiger turqs, i bought these fish from a bloke down the road from me BARGAIN these 3 cost me £120 would have been £235 at other places.

The more and more I see people posting pictures of Discus, the more I'm tempted to drop the Barb tank idea and convert to Discus, haha. Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful fish there, and as said they make the tank that even more special, Superb work!
