4 More New Aditions Corydoras Virginiae

jusy got the wining bid on ebay for 4 Corydoras Virginiae 5-6 cms
i ended up paying £37+£11 delivery so its £48 altogether
this is the pic they had on hopefully should have them by friday

They are very pretty, but that sounds like a lot for 4 fish. If I am correct that translates into almost $100.00 usd.

Are they rare or something? I really hope they do well for you.

iv never seen them before,i looked them up on another site to see if it was worth me biding on them and they was i little bit more exspencive than iv just paid with the delivery for 4 and allot smaller so i think i got a good deal with them, hopefully i can get some eggs of them if they are the size they said they was on ebay

I have a variety of the Virginiae: C. Virginiae/Sangama (where they are from.) I have had them over 2 years and never had any spawning behavior from them. That means nothing, because I never made any effort. I have plans to begin to work on that community Cory tank, because my C096 are in there, as well as my pulchers.

Barracuda has some. You could pm to see what he has done with his. Frank/Coryologist has some, but they are not highlighted as successful spawns. But they are reported to have spawned in the aquarium occasionally.

I have heard of Virginiae being fairly difficult to spawn,
I had them on the wholesale lists for i think 12$ each, or 5 pounds.

Of Course that equates to a retail price of 24$(around 10 pounds) roughly due to the cost of freight in australia.

well im gunna do alot a reading up on them before i even try to spawn them i think its time i got a few books on corydoras now so that will be my next thing on the list when iv some extra cash to spair.
