Any one heard of a camel cow? Do they have other names? They are at my lfs, they look like little swimming space ships, some are brown and some were green. So very cute. I wonder what they require? I saw them in a tank with sea horses. I want that tank

sounds to me like you are describing a "Box Fish" or "Cow Fish". It got two big horns coming out of his head and looks like a squared boxed. They are very curious fish. If you place your figure on the glass he will come over to check whats going on. They float on the surface sometimes too. My friend used to have one and it was pretty easy to maintain. Very passive fish... don't place with anything aggessive. They are usually Yellowish Green.. but i have seen one or two that are Yellowish Orangish Brown.

Edit: They require what most fish require. Good Water (However, cow fish can handle pretty good flucuations in water... not as good as something like a damsel though) . Proper food (i think they eat brine shrimp but don't know for sure). I don't know if its nesscary but i would also reccomend a protein skimmer.

I don't think this fish requires much to hide in. My friends was always out and about.

Yes, same holds true with with many kinds of fancy susumbers also.

I had it happen once. It is a risk I will never take again.

i have a cow fish hmm im a little worried now. i knew i was risking a little but not this much. i love all my fish and dont want to lose any. dam i might have a hard choice to make keep the cow fish or get rid. i really like it but i cannot afford to lose all my fish i dont think i could replace them all. its an expensive hobby but very rewarding.
