Hi there
Currently Have a community tank with varied species of Plecs, Tetras, Barbs, Mollys and Danios as a found this to be a great starting point, Now though I am wanting to move in a different direction with the tank.
The tank itself is a 330 litre 75 Gallon planted tank with sand substrate and T5 Lighting (2 x 38 watts, and a 3rd 38 watt red T5 light, all independantly controlled).
I like oscars however they need a large amount of space and I am aware they can be quite desruptive to the tank layout.
I was thinking s cichlid tank focussing on Yellow Labs and Pseudotropheus Demasoni. Would these two mix well in the same tank? im aware that the pseudos require cave hiding places so will need to incorprate that into the new set up. I would like to keep the tank simple to a couple of species rather that 7-8 like i do now.
Also would a tiger barbs work with these cichlids?
Thanks
