30 Gallon Stocking Question

Ok, so after more tedious(but informative 

 ) research, I've decided that I don't want to risk getting pearl gouramis and them growing too big, so Ill stick with some dwarf gouramis. does 3 sound good? 

Good choice, pearls are getting to big for 30G

You should go for 1 male and 2 females (1,1 would be good enough for the start too). Remember they need low current and plenty of plants including floating plants. The more the female can hide the better.
 

Pearl gouramis rarely exceed 4" so a 30g would be fine IMO.

Is that personal experience or just wild guessing? Did u keep em in 30G?

 I kept a pair in a 4ft tank a while back and they both grew to 4inches. I don't see why they couldn't be kept in a 30g?
