Hey there. I want to know your ideas on what i can keep in a 30 gallon that is interesting, i would prefer something that is a species only and breedable, but i am ok with non breedable and community tanks, thanks for any input.

Ever heard of kuhli loaches? im setting up my first 30 gal and am putting a kuhli in it they are pretty cool imo

yes i ahve heard of them and i think they are some of the cutest fish ever, but i heard they where quite hard to breed. Are they tho?

I am not sure Cause Ive never had them this is my first "Real" tank ive only had like 10 gallons

well 10 gallons is a real tank, a nano tank but a real tank, you can keep plants and some nice animals like bettas, guppys, shrimp, dwarf crayfish, scarlet badis, snails, otocinclus, etc.

What are the tank dimensions (length x width x height)?

What is the GH (general hardness), KH (carbonate hardness) and pH of your water supply?
This information can usually be obtained from your water supply company's website or by telephoning them. If they can't help you, take a glass full of tap water to the local pet shop and get them to test it for you. Write the results down (in numbers) when they do the tests. And ask them what the results are in (eg: ppm, dGH, or something else).

i do not have the tank yet but i can acomodate something as long as 1 meter and as wide as 40 cm, so almos any 30 gallon will work for me, for the parameters i have a Ph of 7-7.6, a Gh of 300 ppm and a Kh of 80 to 100 ppm. So any ideas for fish? thanks :)

Any of the barbs will breed, and white clouds. But the tank needs to be heavily planted.
both barbs and white clouds are egg scatteres right?. In that case i think that bushy plants like rotala, najas guadalupensis, java moss, flame moss ,christmas moss, cabomba and pearlweed would work the best at protecting the eggs and fry. Is that right?

cherrys, checkers, rosy, black ruby, tigers, golden, they are the main ones and all breed the same way and are easy to spawn and the fry are easy to raise.
