30 Gallon Coldwater Tank

Hey everyone

Im about to start cycling a coldwater tank of 30 gallons. Would this stocking be ok

3 Fantails
[Anything else that could be added???]

3 fantails would be happy in there, you could also get a hoard of hillstream loaches?

I'm not sure if it's big enough for a weather loach, as they get rather large, but it might be?

You could always get a shoal of danios too.

Ooh.. how many loaches. Also the tank will be pretty much just sand and some floating elodea (cheers samyboy) and maybe some duckweed so will the loaches be ok with that?

You would be ok with good filtration for 3 fantails and 2 weather loaches. Nothing else.

Ok then, ill go for 2 loaches and 3 fantails

Fantails where my very first fish ever and i still have tank (im ashamed to say it was a 2 gallon bowl ) so im giving someting back to them

Make sure you fully cycle the tank first.
