Well, I've either lost my mind or I'm thinking very clearly now....

I can't decide whether or not Alacrity is going to take care of all his eggs or not, so I just took out about 10 of them. I put half in a kritter keeper all by themselves and I put the other half in with Apollo. He picked them up, mouthed them, and spit them in his nest. So I guess we'll see

I'll get some girlie pictures for you tonight. Dade's a DT, the two males and all three females are plakats.

My bad news...Apollo has built his nest so thick that he has melted fry sitting out of the water I don't see any hanging fry at the moment, but still watching and he also has some of Alacrity's eggs, so time will tell.

Ok, talking to myself but I don't care!! Like I said, there are dead fry at the top of Apollo's nest, but personally I wasn't satified that that was the end I couldn't find a working (being the key word) flashlight, so I grabbed a lighter to look at the nest. I think Apollo appreciated this, as he felt like a hip guy smoking at a concert instead of just a washed up father...Anyways, there are plenty of fry in the bubbles still, so I am quite happy

Well, bad news...Apollo built his nest all the way to the top of the cup, and all the fry are melted together dead at the top Poor thing, he's still guarding it with his life

It's up to Alacrity now...and my five eggs in the kritter keeper...we'll see...

Congrats on the spawns Sorrell! Too bad some of them failed...

Go Alacrity! I hope his will survive because he is a gorgeous fishy! I would be honored to have a fish as beautiful as him.

Prognosis grim...Alacrity has five eggs left in bubbles and they are randomly scattered around the tank. I still have the eggs in the kritter keeper.

Apollo will be trying again in a couple weeks, and I have a few others conditioned so they will be going soon two. I am just so extremely frustrated.

Dade's done as well, I haven't pulled him, but those two have no interest in each other whatsoever.
