This is kinda like a drill I guess... I've seen many a folk be not so kind to un-knowing begginers. Lets see how hard it is for all of us to be kind and softly explain to me that oscers require a large tank and such, so here we go.
I'm a newbie. My name is Tobie.
I have 3 oscers a friend gave to me in a 5 gallon tank. They seem kinda kruntched together and very mean. One looks kinda ill, he has no color.
Can someone help me make me oscers happy? Oh yeah, i feed them chocolate chips. They seem to like em.
Thanks,
Tobie.

For 3 oscars I reckon at least 125 gallons when full grown. I take it they are just babies? If you keep them much longer in the 5 then they are going to weaken and die as they need heaps of room and even more filtration.
How big a tank can you afford just now or in the New Year? You dont even need to buy new as i'm sure there are plenty of ads you could look at and garage sales.
Please dont give them the chocolate as it clogs up the digestive tract with gloop and could be why one is already ill. You can buy cichlid pellets or feed them bloodworm and bits of shrimp.

thank you i can't get a larger tank i guess i'll just get new fish where do i put my old fish.

Take the oscars back as mentioned above and get a couple of bettas and divide the tank.
