3 new girlies

[bittersweet]

well its very hard to find female bettas around here unless they come into our walmart, and they rarely do, but last night i went there right before closing to pick up a fathers day card and they had about 20 females in. almost every male betta was dead and a few females were too it upset me so much, but I couldnt leave some of the healthy ones there to die as well, so I picked out 3 pretty little gals. They had about 8 pure white females there and they were so tiny, I picked 2 of the livliest ones, and found a gorgeous cambodian butterfly CT female too. they were so sad looking but as soon as I got em home I put them in some fresh water with some salt and they all ate like pigs and looked so much happier. here are some pics i took this morning after they settled in a bit. I am waiting for my other 10 gallon to finish cycling then I will be making a little female girl haven for them.

ur butterfly CT girlie looks an ideal match for my Prince charming! im so jealous! especially since i have always wanted to try and find a girl that has more interesting colours than the usual blue and red twotone girls that my LFS sell.

thanks guys, I love em already. I wish I could have bought all of them and shipped them to people like you that I knew they would have good homes with, only if I had the money! they were calling my name to come take more pictures so here are 2 more, I will update once they are in the 10 gallon

my oldest gal scarlet didnt wanna be left out, she got beat up in a spawning attempt a bit and is recupperating..I also think shes upset cause she isnt the prettiest one anymore

i agree there snowangel! she is a stunner! but i am not 100% sure which i like best, as they both look VERY sexi!

yea pink eyes mean albino, but just her irises are pink, her pupils are black so she isnt a true albino, shes pretty darn cute though, her sisters eyes are blue i think
