2x Externals Intake/outake Position

I am in process of setting up 2 external filters. Should i put 2 spray bars at one end and intakes at other or have opposite spray bar and intake at one end and opposite spray bar at other end. sorry it sounds confusing.
It is easiest for my set up to have one filters intake and spray bar at same end and other filters in & sb at other end but not sure if this is ok

I would put the intakes at the same end and the spray bars at the other. one vertical and one horizontal. That way you get a slow current that will reduce the number of dead spots.

thanks for help chris, i only just managed to have enough tubing to finish the job.
