2Nd 405 Filter

i want to add a second 405 filter to my fluval profile 1200 as malawis can be quiet messy.
my tank has the pipes that come up through the base so can i just tee off the pipes then add second filter or is it best to run pipes up the back and in through the top.

Best to go in through the top. If you tee them off, it might reduce the flow rate from both filters slightly
