Hi all,I now have a 2ft tank that is empty. What could i put in it.I thinking:

marine

mollies

guppies

or a group of like 20 neons

i would like to breed fish but livebearers only seem to be a good type of fish to breed in such a small tank.Any ideas welcome

if you have the money and the knowledge (or time to gain knowledge!) I would go with marine out of that list most definitely. How long have you kept fish for because I have heard that you need quite alot of experience to keep marines well.

If your looking for easy breeders for a 20 gallon I would go for a pair of Apistogramma. Or a group of corydoras.

i havnt got the money for marine lol im only 14.i would like to breed egglayers but i dont want to use live baby food.

cubed? ots not cubes. And whats 15 us gals in english gallons?and how many mollies could i fit in there?

2 foot x 1 foot x 1 foot = 2 foot cubed!! unit of VOLUME in feet.

for 15 us gallons in uk gallons type in: "15 US gallons to UK gallons"

= 12.5 gallons.

probably about 4 in there. I would make it 3 females and 1 male.

remember that mollies like a little bit of salt in their water.

If you're interested in breeding. (fish, I mean ;) ) you could keep a colony of shelldwellers in a 20gal. Apistogramma are another that are quite easy to breed, and a 20 is just the right size. Neither "require" live food. Fry survival would be better with live BBS etc but you can manage without.
