28Litre Suggestions

Hello, I already have a 95l tropical tank up and running but I have set up a smaller 28l tank which has been through cycling for 6 weeks to add to my collection. I know it is smaller but I wanted some suggestions to stock it. I am thinking maybe a species specific tank but want smaller fish so I can have more.

Any suggestions?

small tetras? small danios?

Both are shoaling fish and prefer bigger numbers, Ive got Bentosi tetras just gone in my tank and theyve got fantastic characters.

Maybe a Betta (boy) and a small shoal of pygmy cory over sand

I added a golden gourami and pearl gourami to my 95l last week and the golden gourami has started nippping at my betta so the plan now is to move the betta into the smaller tank (only if my lfs won't take the gouramis back) so the 28l needs to be filled with little fish who will leave Sheldon (my betta) alone!!!!

Well I suggested a shoal (maybe 6) of pygmy cory. There are not many fish you can put with a Betta and ideally they should be alone. I suggested the cory as I had this set up years ago and it worked fine

No I really appreciate that- its just I forgot to mention in my original post about the betta so thought I should mention it but I thought that pygmy cory would be good as they won't harass the betta, thanks!
