26G tank...

Ive got a 26g tank dimensions: 50" Long x 12" High x 10" Wide... Im jus wondering what sort of filter i should use for this type of tank? Also what watt heater do you recomend? Thanx in advance...

I think a canister may be best for this type tank or if that is too costly then a couple of hob filters with one at each end or if that is too much try one hob filter and a powerhead for circulation of the water. For heating in that tank i would get 2 heaters one at each end at 50 watts each. HTH

On my 29g I use an Emporer 280. I just added an Aquaclear 200 for additional filtration.

I use a 150w heater.

I think your tank is actually 150 litres which is 37.5 american gallons.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

No i think its deffinatly a 26g i used a Dimensions calculator...
