Hey guys,
I am relatively new to the planted aquariums, but I've been progressing along for the last 4-5 months. I currently have a 20 gallon long tank (~76cm) with an AC20 HOB filter. I just upgraded my lighting to a dual HO T5 and I am running a DIY CO2 injection in as well.
My question really comes down to my filter and proper tank circulation in a densely planted tank. I am wondering whether it would be more beneficial to add an AC20 powerhead to the other end of my tank, or if I should just get a new HOB filter all-together. I am also wondering whether it is better to have circulation directly through a densely planted area, or if it is more ideal to be positioned around the parameter of the dense group.
I can throw up some pictures later today when the lights come back on. But I thought I'd get your inputs on the matter in the mean time. If anyone has any useful links to proper circulation as well, I'd appreciate it.
Cheers.
