200L Stock Update

So after loosing a lot of fish to my mess up, I need to restock again.
 
I asked my LFS if they had Pearl Gourmais and they do so.
 
2 x Pearl Gourami
 
6 x Emperor Tetras + the 4 that's still left already
 
2 x German blue rams.
 
So my tanks 200L or 53 gallons.
 
Does that sound okay so far?

Sounds ok to me. Gouramis at the top Tetras in the middle and Rams middle bottom. My only thought would be how about Dwarf gouramis instead of the Pearls? Then you can get a few more in there.

Ha Ha! Can you imagine watching the ducks feet as the fish swim around beneath them. For about 10 seconds and then get eaten!

I know what you mean about Pearls. They do look nice. Although my daughter loves Kissing Gouramis so if I ever go down the full size Gourami route I'd have to get them first!

Techen - sounds a good list so far, I'd still say you had some room in there for future additions

Yep, I know which is one of the reasons I keep dissuading her from us getting them! I could fit them in my 288l tank but it would reduce the options for other fish.

My lfs does 3 pearls for 10 quid. Meaning I save money if I buy 3 instead of 2. So do you think I can push another?

The tetras only bug things the same size or smaller than them. They never touched my angels and have yet to go rear my rams. I believe I'll get the same effect with the pearls.

What are fighting? Kissing Gourami are a specific species of Gourami (Helostoma temminkii) - he's not saying his Gourami are kissing/lip-locking
