Because thats how long it takes to get to that size. I do feed it phyto.

I just read that on avg, they only will live 2 years in a tank... man if that creature really is 200 years old.. i'd feel bad about having one

lol thats a bit of a claim! Unless you are aware of a way of measuring the growth and estimating from that I find it impossible for you to claim it is 200 years old...
