20 gallon

I have a pair of firemouths in my 20 gallon tank, and i was wondering.... what other fish can i put in there, if any?

you could put 2-3 more firemouths in there, or even a few blue eyed cichlids or flyer cichlids. you could also try some dwarf puffers ( but be prepared to take the puffers back if they get too out of hand). Are your firemouths agressive? because from what I've read about them, they can be very peaceful, or very agressive.
what type of pleco do you have? if its the ones the stores sold as "Commen pleco" then you may want to take him back, as they can grow over 2' long.

My firemouths are not very aggressive at all!!! The big guy, Flame chases the smaller guy, Dragon, but not to the point of exhaustion. The pleco is the common kind, and I'll sell him when he gets to big. How about some kissing gouramis?

kissing gourami's grow six inch's long which might be too big for that tank. a few Blue gouramis (or any color morph of them) may wok, as they stay smaller. but I would take someone eles advise on this, I've never kept cichlids.
