20 Gallon Full Tank

Fish I have:
1 small plecostomus
1 neon sunburst moon
6 neon tetras
3 peppered corys

Food I have:
Tetra Color Minus
Tetra Color Plus
Tetra Veggie Algae Wafers

I also have:
A Heater
A Filter
A Light
A Thermometer

I keep the tank tempature at 76F

I cant control the temp

Is this okay? I have no idea what plecostomus it is.
I'm overstocking by an inch. I asked a worker at petsmart said that I could overstock by a little, and my fish pick if the tank is overstocked.

Welcome!

Overstocking can lead to some serious trouble for both you and your fish in the long-run. I am going to assume you are overstocked by much more than an inch assuming you purchased a common pleco, as most newbies make this mistake. Plecos get far too large for a 20 gallon tank. I would return him if I were you! Best of luck!
