Reason I say "finally" is because I had to wait for my hood in the mail and some background plastic plants. The wait was worth it!

Occupants: Currently, only five Platies. One female Sunburst Mickey Mouse, one male regular Mickey Mouse, one female Red Wagtail, and two male Red Wagtails.

Plants: Only three live plants: Small spread of Java Moss tied down to large rock decoration. Two smaller Java Ferns tied down to two other rock decorations.

Decorations: I have two small "cave" like decorations, one large "mountain" looking one and two other small rock ones.

Substrate: Black moon sand with some smooth medium pebbles laid across in front.

Filter: Penguin 200

Here we go:

I'm only going to post one pic, the whole tank view.

P.S. Any suggestions, comments, advice, questions, all welcome!

Looks really really nice - love the layout of the plants etc (can't believe they're plastic!).

What other fish will you be adding in the future?

Thank you very much KimA!

I'm not so sure... My local PetSmart has a limited selection, PetCo has more, but very poor quality...

Any ideas?

I'm definitely going to get a Dwarf Gourami though!

Dwarf Gourami's are lovely.

How about some Cory's for the bottom? Would say a minimum of 3 as they love being together - I've just got up this morning and my 7 Albino Corys are all lined up at the front of the tank together (looks like a police line-up, lol) - adorable fish.

looks fantastic
you give me a problem now.... im gonna have to get in the missus good books so i can set up my little tank and have a few crabs and neons and stuff

great work!

Plants look pretty good to say they are fake plants, you can tell with the twisted vallis but the rest of em look pretty realistic i think. Definately would get a dwarf gourami mine is hilarious. Heres a video of mine trying to eat a catfish pellet. Gourami vid
