2 Yellow Apple Snails-free!

Can they live with goldies?
i thought they can only live in a tropical tank

Mine do rather happily. If they are in cooler water (22-23 degrees for my tanks) they poop slightly less and live longer than they would in warmer water The optimal temps for applesnails is 18 to 28°C (65-82°F). They are cold blooded creatures after all

With any snails in a fancy goldie tank just remember to have them bigger than the goldie can get in their mouths. As long as your friend takes note that the best tank sizes for goldies are 20 gallons min for the first fish and a further 10 gallons per extra fish to give them a really good start and prevent possible stunting

He really is a good friend, but he hasn't a clue so I'm helping him all I can, so I will be trawling alot on here on information I cannot provide in the first place.
