[balloon molly]

1) has anyone ever heard of a spotted molly and a liberty mollie.
i would like to know some info on spotted mollies because they are small but i dont know if they will get along with my balloons or they might be mis-labeled gambusia.
2)how big do coral red platys get. i saw them at the lfs and they are very small(a little smaller than a neon tetra)
thnx.looking to get both if the spotted mollie is a mollie and not gambusia
i love the way the coral red platy looks and is small but i dunno

You shore the spotty molly, is not a Dalmation Molly. I'll have alook in my molly book for you see what I can find.

yes i am sure it is a spotted mollie.i have seen dalmations and marbled mollies
and this fish is way smaller.im going to look online to see if i can find a pic of it

it looks exactly like this but it has spots in the middle of its body
and the males have a really long gonopodium

Ok I am not sure on a spotted molly. But mollies come in many colors. I have them from black to white to blue. And ever kind of spot and stip in the middle.

Oh and forgot a liberty mollie is a red, silver, with a touch of blue.

i never said that was the fish. i just said that the fish i was talking about looked like it but it was very skinny and small with spots in the middle
