2 New Rainbows

I purchased 2 Red rainbowfish on Friday to accompany my other ones but when I added them to the tank they looked like midgets compared to all my other fish and all the fish seemed to target them, so I took them out and put them in to a smaller tank with smaller fish until they get bigger.
Now I've been thinking should I have left them in there so they could be with my other Red rainbows maybe I didn't give them long enough in there and the other fish would forget about them. Or should I still keep them separate ?

I'd keep them with the other rainbows, if you're still noticing problems a few days down the line possibly rehome then but I'd give it a few days at least.

Ill try and get some pics tomorrow but it might be tricky. I also brought some Lake Kutubu Rainbow as well today so I'll try and get some of them as well

Did you feed the other fish before adding the new ones? A full stomach can help to quell aggression.

Good point I never thought of doing this, but they are in now and all seems to be good here's a couple of pics of my Rainbows
