I'd leave the eggs alone, they need to be fanned by the parents to hatch, so if you plan on separating them do it after you get swimmers, and don't re introduce the parents, because once they're away from them they will start thinking about making more and will eat the ones they have, that's why my wigglers got chomped.  Daddy got frisky again so ate the babies. That was last week.  I'm not sure when they'll be spawning again but they're doing the frisky dance so it can't be too long off. Best to get your tank maintenance done before they spawn! Don't wanna stick your hands in when they have eggs/wigglers

Yeah I did my big change yesterday and will do a 40% water change on Wednesday as the eggs should be laid on Friday. What do you feed yours to condition them and how much do you feed them from Tom

I have frozen brine shrimp, other than that just normal stuff. I try not to over feed.  I haven't really attempted to condition them, they just sorta do their thing.

right now my pair of kribs are swapping between three different spots, one coconut cave, one little "moon cave" it glows in the dark, and one place they are making themselves under a piece of driftwood set on top of the moon cave.  Lots of java moss too, which they seem to like eating the new growth on.  I have no idea which one they will actually use.  First time it was the moon cave, second time it was the coconut...this time, maybe their manufactured cave, who knows!  I spend so much time just staring in the tank looking for the breeding tube, then I know eggs are imminent.

I have never seen the eggs being laid or fertilised I just wake up one morning and they are there. I also sit and watch them for hours especially when they are so colourful and are spawning it's very intresting to watch from Tom

How many times can kribensis lay eggs as mine are about a year old and they have had 4 spawns and their 5th was due today but it had not happened and I was wondering if the females can only have a certain amount of eggs. Also how long can kribensis live for and how regularly can they lay eggs from Tom

I have no idea! mine certainly don't spawn on a schedule, just keep an eye on things

From what I can gather they get to 5-8 years, with 5 being pretty average.
