2 Missing Neons

i brought 10 neons at the start of the week and 2 have gone missing, cant see them anywhere in the tank, i only have corrys, 3 adult mollies, the neons and 5 small plecs around an inch long.

would any of them have eaten them?

is it possible they're stuck in a decoration?

maybe you should take decorations out of the tank maybe their hiding. or maybe they have died and have been eaten when was the last time you seen them?

or maybe they got sucked up so check ur filter cartridge

there not in the filter as i cleaned it the other day and i can see all the plants and they dont seem to be in them. would the fish i have eat them? seen them about 3-4 days ago.

no i wouldn't think so id say they died and then they were eaten. it wouldn't take long to eat a small neon.

Probably worth checking the floor as they may well jumped - can happen quite often with new fish if they're not acclimatised to the water well enough or get chased by anyone.

If no sign there or in the decorations/filter better have a word with the cat

Probably too late in any case, but I've had 2 of mine get somehow stuck in the gravel. I have large pebble gravel in one tank, and they've managed to get stuck/ wedged between stones. Thought they were goners until I went to scoop them out and they swam away...

Just something to consider!
