2 Bn Plec's Diferent To The Others Get Id Please

hello i've got several bn plec's but these two are different to the others so was wondering if some one could correctly id them so i can research them

Cant really help you but the bottom pleco could be a L182 Starlight Pleco?

the bottom one dosen't seem to be a l182, its got red tips to its fins rather than a white band

Its the L183 that has the white band...the L182 doesn't have this

let me know when you find out what the bottom one is i have the same fish . planet cat fish site has loads of bn plecs listed but not had a chance to look through them all

For the bottom one there is 2 that come to mind.... ancistrus rio ucayali and ancistrus hoplogenys (L59).


The first doesn't look a well plec lol, not entirely sure why i think that but it just doesn't quite look right?. The best guess i coulc come up with would be ancistrus claro (LDA08), pattern seems to correspond but colour is slightly off but he could just be young and a little stressed but that would be the closest match i can think of

Better pics would probably be best because i really cant seem to make out any defining patterns .

thankyou from looking at the plecs you suggested

L59 look like the second one and

LDA08 looks like the first one, that's currently approx. 1 1/2 - 2in

ill try and get some better pics up
