2 Betta's 2 Tanks

We have a male betta living in one tank and a female in another, sitting side by side. Every time the male sees the female he flares like crazy and constantly, so we put a block between the two tanks so they can't see each other. Do you think the male betta would go nuts if we just take the block away and let him see her all the time?

I think your setup sounds fine, it's what most people do. I separate my two males, because as you said, two fish in constant veiw may become stressed.

For 10 minutes a day, let them see each other - it promotes good health and vigour.

What you're doing now is fine. I have something in between all my tanks too. I let all of them flare a bit each day.

I have a male and female next to eachother. And i will not place a divider between them because im conditioning them and i want to let them get to know eachother. The male is being really good and the female just stays and watches the male flare around..
