hey guys, made too many 2.5g pico's with only gobies... just wondering if u have any other ideas on other fish/inverts? cause im all out! lighting is 18watts for 2.5g (7.2watts/g).

ps. there arent any starfishes that are small enough for the 2.5g right? (excluding the asterina starfish)

thanks!

How about a "jewel box", ie..an assortment of multi coloured small zoa frags and add a few boxer/pom pom crabs or a pair of bumble shrimp..can't think of any small stars that would fit either,sorry...fromia indica/red starfish at 8cm or fromia monilis/maldives elegant statfish at around 10 cm maybe...
Add blue led's to appreciate the colours of the zoas in these tanks for full effect...this would rule out the bumble bees however as they will eat the star's feet..could replace with sexy shrimp however

perfect! thats exactly what ill do then, a 2.5g jewel box!

i got 2 questions though

1. can i put sexy shrimp with the bumble shrimp?

2. i want a small yellow clown goby in the tank, is that possible with the inhabitants thats goin to be in there? (zoa's, sexy shrimp/bumble shrimp, pom pom crab)

better safe than sorry, haha! once i get the tank done ill upload a picture, might take a while cause i have to wait for my allowence. sometimes i just wish i was old enough to manage my own money!

thanks!

Asterina stars are the only star fish that would accomodate any tank under 300-400 liters.

Regards

The first thing that popped into my head when I saw those pictures was that looks ideal for seahorses. Although the lighting looks a little bright and the flow might be too fast. Although saying that it is the impression the pictures gave and the reality could be something quite different. I am sure someone in here will advise if you like the sound of seahorses. I think it was Tiger who was possible getting into the seahorse field. I personally like them but am not really interested in keeping them as they are a 'specialist subject'.

Hope things work out and this can guide you somehow.

Kindest regards

Joe
