2.5 Gallon - What to put with my female betta

Umm guys what i meant was get 2 1 gal. and a 2.5 and a larger (growout) 10gal. and seperate bowls for juvy males. Okay say ur saying they couldn't succesfully breed in a 2.5 gal???? put them in there, spawn, remove mom, remove dad(once free swimming), females in 10 gal (or sold) males in 1 gal. (seperate) (or sold) i must be missing something ............hmmmmm ??? ??? ???

its the fact of you dont want to rush into breeding without doing massive research i (hmm whats after cubed) well neways i fourth the ditto on breeding bad suggestion

If he knows basic care he can get a male a female seperated ............. and then do research. Betta dont require much special care if you know there basic needs. If he has one he should know them so there is nothing wrong with it sorry bud. I never said RUSH into breeding did I????? NO ........ He can have a male and female betta and decide he doesnt want to breed i have seen beatiful females. Yes for bettas he should have alot of research on breeding but my set-up had no issues you saying things i did not say is what u had issues with ......

Read this it should give you an idea of why it's not a good idea to throw that around.

Secondly, this person was asking for advice on tankmates for his betta, not info on breeding. :X

Woah guys, chill now. I don't think I'll be breeding anytime soon. The list of tanks on my sig are all that I have. I may breed someday, but not yet. I do have a male and a female, so perhaps in the summer when I have more time. But also, I wouldn't know what to do with the babies. I couldn't keep all of them.

So basically an ADF is my only option? I don't want to use cories. They like to be in groups, and I have 3 in my 10 gal.
