Any ideas? Should I just leave her be? I was going to put a snail in, but I decided against that. Will she be lonely?

Maybe a shrimp? It's only 2.5 Gal though.

good to see you around :)

IMO there is not alot else that can go with a betta in 2.5gal,
you are correct; mybe a shrimp or three, possibly an ADF,
but I'm not sure.

Yeah I figured that. I take it you like danios, danio? Just a hunch.

PS: Packers have a tough first game on Monday!

guppies can go into a tank that size. just two females though.

Get a nice male in a mason jar or 1 gal. betta sphere exct. and breed her. Great breeding for betta but you would need to switch the female to the jar and the male to the 2.5 to help the eggs :)

This is irresponsible advice, and I suggest you don't take it. Breeding bettas takes a lot more then a 2.5g tank and a gallon jar. :sly:

I double Ditto...Breeding should ONLY be done by someone who is totally prepared with information and equipment and plans as to what to do with the fry when they grow up. Breeding Bettas is NOT for everyone.

Ditto cubed, but as for the original question if your tank is filtered and heated panda cories or pygmy cories would be good. If not then a pair of dwarf frogs would be nice too.

Personally I have heard of too many bettas eating their shrimp roomates  so that's probably not the best idea, and any other middle to top dwelling fish may be to much for something as territorial as a betta in a 2.5 gallon.

:p

A cory or two would b my suggestion. they won't invade the top of the tank and thus the betta won't feel territorial.
