Well I have started the process of building everything I need to put a 150 gallon RR with a 125 gallon sump into the wall.

First I built the stand:

braces along the center (easily removed and replaced for quick sump removal

top put on the stand (havent cut for the overflow drains and returns for the main tank)

im in the process of building my own "electrical board" which will have 30 outlets, 5 on/off swithes. Half the outlets will go to a 20 amp GFCI circuit breaker and the other half will go to another 20 am GFCI circuit board. (pics later)

I have also bought for this tank a beckett skimmer:

A dual chamber reactor for GFO (phosban) and carbon (pics later)

4 maxi-jet 1200's and a wavemaster pro to run them.

Also you can see the 125 gallon tank in the bottom of the stand (that will be my sump with a plan of it having a 50"x18" sandbed (over 6" deep) with macro-algae and mangroves

I still need to build a face to the "outlet board" so that the covers rest flat and all the wiring and boxes are hidden. I am also going to add one or two computer fans to keep down the heat.

Oooh, nice big ambitious tank, I love it :). Lookin forward to watching this one develop

what do I plan on keeping:

corals:

I have a mixed 75 gallon right now... lots of softies, lps, shrooms, xenia, galaxies, brain corals.

I plan on the right side of the tank making a "zoa" garden. the rest of the tank will continue to be a mixed coral tank, and I am starting to venture into sps (I have a few now.. newest one is a pearlberry and red planet)

rockwork
plan on a minimal landscape with high structres (going to use clear acrylic rods to help hold them in place)

fish:

trying to find a mated pair of cardinals
not sure what tangs I am going to get
group of anthias or green chromis
a manadrain

15-20 shrimp

maybe a carpet nem for a clown pair?

wrasse or two
