15 Gallon Tank And A Betta

I just started a new 15 gallon tank and I have a bio-wheel filter on it by Marineland. Will the filter cause too much current to have a beta in it?

Maybe some tall, leafy plants near the filter might disperse at lease some of the turbulence.

It kind of depends on the fish. I had a ten gallon with a pretty good flow that bothered one of my bettas tremendously but not a different one that I put in there. I did cut the flow a ton using a empty water bottle with the top and bottom cut off and then slit down the side. You can then slip it over the flow output to help disperse the water. Good luck!
