12inch Airstone

I just bought an 12inch airstone and it worked great but it doesnt make a air curtain like i planned. The bubbles only make a 4inch air curtain. I am guessing it down to the air pump, i got a standard one for a 120l tank, which is called RENA AIR 200
Any suggestions for an upgrade? and is it really worth it?

it is worth it if you want it to stretch out the full 12" otherwise no. I have heard good reviews on the tetratec airpumps. They are powerful.

I have a 20 gallon air pump going into a 15 inch bubble wall in a 6 gallon tank. I have to have a pressure valve on the line cause at full blast the current in the water is way too strong.

That model 200 has a control knob on it to adjust air flow. If you need a little more air flow, try turning it. I don't remember which direction is which but that pump moves a lot of air when it is turned up.
