Hi fish killer no more!

Your tank is looking superb!!! Do you use fertilizers and CO2?

Good luck with the tank!

Looking cool :) the 'tree' looks great! Definately going to do this in my next tank  Once the moss carpet grows out a bit the whole 'woodland glade' affect in the tank will be cool :D, What other plants you think of adding? -_- my only suggestion is that I think it needs something with big leaves, to help balance out the other shapes of the plants? :/ or are you hoping the anubais will fill that roll for you? :fun:

I had the same thread algae problem with my java moss :S was growing great but it was constantly covered  think it was due to being in the flow of the filter outlet, well thats the theory anyway!

Keep up the good work :good:

Sam

PS - nine smiles, woohoo! ;) oh make that 10 now!

Great tank shot! I'm pleased, now go comment again on my tanks. :p

The R. macrandra might not be your fault. The stems are very fragile and often don't do well in transport. Moving it around too much also causes it stress. I have had to throw away several specimens and am now down to one specimen, which is doing alright.

:)

I must say i've enjoyed reading this journal.. Well done fishkiller no more..
I've ordered myself some java moss, and i plan on using it on slate, just above the tank bottom (rested on bogwood). Would i be able to use this like you're self on a twig? Or do i need a specific type of moss. The moss i've ordered is the 'true java moss' (vesicularis dubyana). Thanks.

Oh that's too bad about your macrandra. Mine's hanging in there, I just can't move it too much. Have you thought about a nice cryptocryne? Mine grow fine at 3.7WPG as long as they're shaded. That's the only thing I can think of that stays near 6 inches.

Looks great! 8)

Glad to see at least a few people who know how's it done!

Planted tanks are :good:

  Binned the last of my macrandra on Saturday! Will try again later in Miami. Try aquariumplants.com for crypts, I've never been disappointed with them. Mine were not red when I first got them. One of the benefits of Iron dosing, nice redder leaves. For a little more, they sell these nice big ones in pots, mother plants, I think. Quite a few varieties. Be sure to save your ID tag, though, I didn't and now I have no clue what crypts I have. :dunno:

Hmmm, my regular rotala doesn't grow that fast, but my 15g is quite a bit taller than your 10g.

Funny how Wierd Al is appropriate for almost any occasion. Well, at least your tetras aren't afraid of you anymore. Tank looks awesome! It is getting quite dense. Great job. :good:

What substrate are you going to use for your new nano? Sorry, random question.

Nice one FKNO, these new fangled video things seem to be quite common now, cant see it taking off though :p

You can't defect to the dark side! Even if it is to start a marine planted tank!

Is it me or is the moss garden growing? Seems to be getting quite bushy, woohoo!
